Picked up an unfired in box Ruger Single Six 32 Magnum 4 5/8 bbl. today with Bird's Head grip, fixed Vaquero style sights, and case hardened finish. Will make a nice compact little trail gun. Already have an SP101 32 Mag. and I love the caliber. Anyone out there have one of these Ruger Bird's Head SS? Like it? How does it shoot? Accurate? Certainly didnt need another gun but what can I say, it just fit my hand so well and the single six frame seems perfect for the 32 mag. Just happened to have a Ruger holster for it too.
Also wondering if I should have the grip frame converted to a regular single six plow handle, but the Bird's Head grip feels good and its style is growing on me.
