RUGER 45 LC SIGHT IN ?

GOT MY FIRST 45LC RUGER 7.5 BARREL HAVE SOME HAND LOADS 250GR XTP SHOOTING AT 1150 TO 1200 FPS GUN SHOOTS LOW AT 20 YARDS ANY INFO ON A GOOD STARTING POINT FOR SIGHTING IN THIS LOAD I WOULD LIKE TO SHOOT OUT TO AROUND 50 YARDS AT DEER SIZE GAME . THE REAR SIGHT SCREW IS 3 TO 4 TURNS FROM COMING OUT . ANY HELP HERE WOULD BE THANKFUL ..

Either get a shorter front sight or file the one that's on the revolver.

Try a 300 gr. XTP at 1100 fps+-. It will impact higher than the 250.

Ruger makes 2 different height rear sight blades. I'm sure they'll send you the short one if you give them a call. I got lucky and swaped with a high shooting Ruger of mine and it worked out perfect.
