i just got a new model vaquero (same thing/fixed sights) after recomendations on here. have not been able to find any 45colt yet :( but the gun is finished a+ for a <500$ gun and the action/trigger feel great.

Does anybody make a set of inexpensive replacement grips for the anniversary models. I have the .357 and .44. The ones that come on the guns suck.

Heavy

The 50th aniversary .357 Flattop is rather heavy for the caliber at 45 plus ounces.

My CDNN .357 is due to show up this coming Tuesday.... just rechecked the tracking # again.... keeps telling me it will show up on time.... this thread is what put me over the edge<grin>

I have both the 357 and the 44 anniversary models from CDNN. The 44 is perfect -- one of my favorite revolvers. The 357 is going back to Ruger tomorrow because there's not enough of a cylinder gap to allow rotation when there are rounds in the gun. So, I guess you have a 50/50 chance of doing well.
