Ok, so I'm browsing the Ruger site and come across their P-series. The first version I saw on the site holds 8 rounds, so obviously a single stack. I browse down and notice that all of the 9mm versions hold 10 rounds, but I am not sure if they mean 10 rounds in neutered mags (many firearms sites still say 10+1 rather than 15 or 17+1, for some reason) or that the gun actually holds 10 rounds of 9mm, single stacked (which would make sense sizewise, since the single-stack .45 holds 8).
So, how do I tell what models are single-stack and what models are double-stack?
edit: Forgot to ask- can Ruger's be dry-fired a lot? I've been tld that most conventional autoloaders can but I just want to make sure.
