out of curiosity what mods are we talking about. I didnt think there was alot you could do with a RA

There aren't many aftermarket options at this time. Boyd's makes some stocks and I've seen a few guys go that way. I'd consider it a downgrade. I don't recall who makes it, but you can buy aftermarket stocks that fit the Predator that essentially turn it into one of the Ruger Precision Precision rifle for quite a bit less money. I'd like to see some magazines holding 10 rounds or so.

I put a scope on mine but that is about it. It's an okay rifle, I have had constant feeding issues when I fully loaded the mag. The second round almost never feeds, other than that it's been cool.

What mods are you looking for?

My new Ruger American .308 is accurate as is. Like the trigger. Two mags load flawlessly. Put a 1-9 scope and a sling on it. That’s all.

At 200 yards it loves Sierra 150 gr. Spitzers at 2900 FPS.

My American Ranch in 300 Blackout is a cool rifle, compact model with 16" barrel and a Truglo 3x9 luminated scope...great hog hunting platform. It too has feed problems and Ruger sent a new mag coupled with extending over all cartridge length has corrected the problem..

I have been hearing a lot about feed issues, are they all spotty on feeding? The mags look like a Chinese Mattel knock off, is there enough of these rifles out there for a decent aftermarket mag yet? I would love one of the predator models, but the feed problems have me concerned...

Ive only shot them in .30-06 and .300aac and the mags have been good for both. The 06 had no issue, my 300 is good unless i run heavy bullets short then they hit the front of the mag and lock up. My biggest complaint is that the feed ramp on the mag is very abrupt.
