I'm looking at adding a revolver to my pistol collection. I already own a variety of pistols but no revolvers. I'm looking at a Ruger Blackhawk mod 34x with a 4-5/8" bbl and 36x 6-1/2" bbl and I'm curious if the barrel length will make very much of a difference in accuracy. I mostly shoot paper and other range targets.
I'm leaning towards the 4-5/8"bbl model because it also comes with an extra 9mm cylinder.
Thanks

Save your money on the convertable as the 9mm doesn't shoot very well in one (oversized bore). I will bet you that the 9mm cylinder looks brand new.
As to the barrel length, the longer sight radius gives you a better chance at greater accuracy, but which ever one balances the best for you will play a large part in the accuracy. Both will have just about equal accuracy, it's a matter of how you can shoot one over the other.
