"I decided to keep it, but I installed a new original Vaquero grip frame. It handles great now. I figured out that my dislike of the New Vaqueros is that little grip frame. I still need to polish the frame though. I do like shooting it a lot more now."

I sold 2 Vaqueroes and replaced them with Blackhawks. Not a fan of that smaller grip.
The only Vaquero I have, is the .45C / .45ACP combo. It will be gone, as soon as I find a Blackhawk to replace it.

I could be wrong, but on further examination, it looks like they replaced all the internals including hammer and trigger. They gave me back the Wolff spring I had on it still attached to a hammer strut so that's been replaced for sure as well.

There is nothing more American than an honestly worn Blackhawk! Great looking gun.

Ruger usually lists what is replaced on the invoice. I would not be surprised if they replaced all the internals.
