Ok - so after trying everything I could think of to fix the periodic extraction/ejection problems with my MKII Target model, I finally called Ruger yesterday.
Talked to a tech there who really knew his business.
After dicussing the problem and some of the related issues (Does the extractor appear damaged? Does it fail with other magazines?) he told me about 6 things it could be - and then proceeded to send me the parts, free of charge! (extractor, recoild spring assembly, mag latch, plus some others)
He basically sent me an entire new set of internal parts, with nothing more than my name and address.
He told me to call him back if I need help installing anything, and if the new parts don't fix it, to send it in and they'll figure it out.
I have always heard that Ruger had good customer service, but this was way more than I expected. Maybe I will get that new P345 they just came out with...
