I have heard that Ruger has excellent customer service. Now, I know firsthand.
One of the prongs on the recoil spring assembly snapped off on my new 22/45 after I just finished cleaning it for the first time. If I had to bet money, it broke because the monkey re-assembling it didn't know what he was doing ( ).
I called Ruger fully expecting to have to order the part, but the nice lady just asked for my name and address and said that the part should arrive within a week. Wow. It's a small part on a relatively inexpensive plinker. Still, I'm impressed with their service. Thumbs up, Ruger.
