Ruger Factory Mags - Website Offer

So I called Ruger today to see what's up with their previously announced internet spectial - Mini-14 20rd. factory mags for $29.95. "Offer good through Jan 2009."

Web page says out of stock. No mechanism for placing an order.

Ruger rep says when they re-stock the web site will allow ordering again. Couldn't say when this will be however.

Anyone else have any color on this?

Ruger 20rd mag "Inaugural Special"

Go to Ruger.com Click on internet specials under online shopping. The only special today is the 20rd mag marked down from 39.95 to 29.95. Click on it.
Scroll down to see if it says out of stock. If not then order. If so, then call Ruger and talk to an order taker. They will take your order as a backorder and wont charge your credit card till shipping time. They told me the mags are marked LE. Call during regular hours. You have to poke around the site to find the phone number. This works, I did it last week. Last tip: buy more than one. These go in and out of stock very often.
