I've had a 6 inch Ruger GP100 for a while now but admit it doesn't make it to the range as much as it should. When I do shoot it I run probably 95% 38 special as opposed to the full magnum rounds. (I don't reload and 357 is expensive) I picked up some aluminum cased Blazer 357 on sale and since I've had good luck with their 9mm I though I'd give it a try. I noticed a number of times getting little stings to the face shooting it today. I also noticed that I had to eject the cases using a cleaning rod because they were sticking to the chamber walls. (Note: this gun is cleaned very well after each outing so it didn't start dirty.) After the 357 ran out, I shot some remington 38s and had no problem. Don't recall ever getting hit using other 357 brands in the past. Is this likely an ammo issue? Anybody have any experience with the Blazer aluminum 357 magnum rounds?
