I've decided that its about time to buy myself a wheelgun and the local shop has both of these in stock. I've pretty much settled on a .357 of some sort, but I'm torn on which one.
The 6-inch blued Ruger is new, and is $469.
The 6-inch blued Dan Wesson (comes with an extra barrel and tools, not sure about length) has been gently used, and is around $240.
I generally like the Ruger more, and I think the cylinder catch for the DW is a bit awkward, but I don't want to miss out on a potentially good deal on a used gun.
Both triggers feel good, both weigh the same, and both come with rubberized grips.
Any advice? Next time I go to the candy store, I'll check where the DW was made. I hope its not in Palmer, MA. THR help me choose!
