Ruger KGP161 or Taurus 66SS6

I'm looking at purchasing a revolver. I am leaning towards the Ruger, but my brother thinks I should get the Taurus, because it is cheaper. I was wondering if there was any major differences in quality, durability or features that would make it worth my money to buy the Ruger. Or should I save the hundred and fifty bucks or so and buy the Taurus? I would appreciate advice from anyone who owns or has useful knowledge of either of these guns.
