I just wanted to post a few pictures. The Ruger LC9 has become my primary carry for summer time when I wear a lot of form fitting t-shirts. I like it so much I've considered picked up an LCP for when pocket carry is a must. The LC9 is just a hair too large to fit in most of my pockets.

Anyway, I just received the CT Grip in the mail today. It's my first CT grip, and I was a little apprehensive to buy it. After the $50 mail in rebate they had going on, plus a 10% off coupon, free shipping, I paid $111.10. I was worried about it compromising my grip. Luckily the folks at CT put a place where I can still rest my index finger without covering the laser. This was a major concern of mine.

I haven't taken it out to shoot yet, but I will by next week. I am thinking of a zero of 10 yds or 25 yds. I'll have to see which makes it the closest POA toPOI overall. I'm sure it'll serve it's purpose well.

Picture one: Grip
Picture two: trying to show where the index finger can still rest
Picture three: extra mag and custom IWB holster
Picture four: Holstered

Yes I am a lefty.

You're the first person I've seen to report actually owning one. Not sure if I'll be getting one though. Though I do like the notch for the finger. I always shoot my lc9 with my support hand finger in the trigger guard.

I am probably one of the first to get it. I've had this thing on back order since April with several different places. At retail of $179, I wouldn't own it. But with the discounts taking it to down 38%, I figured it was worth a shot. If I don't like it at the range, then I'll easily be able to sell it for close to what I paid.

A quick range report for those interested.... I didn't save my targets however....

From the factory I found the Crimson Trace zero to be pretty reliable. I found it to be about an inch high at 15 yards. The CT also helped my shooting dramatically with the LC9. I tried not to use 100% laser when shooting today. I was actually able to hit inside 4" targets with ease, with a lot of holes touching. I think part of my problem is still the trigger being DAO, it is still taking some getting used to. I've put about 450 rds through it so far. I'm used to a Glock as my primary carry/shooter, so the LC9 is a big difference. However, it fills a gap that I am happy with.

I had a terrible conversation with a guy at the range today, he kept telling me my LC9 wasn't good for competition... and when he competes, blah-blah-blah, and he was spoiled to Sig Sauer. blah blah blah. I never asked for any of this, it was all voluntold information....
