Ruger lcr vs.Vintage j-frame

I had a 638, 2 SP101s and a Taurus 85. I currently have a LCR in 38spl and find it to have the best factory trigger out of the group. Considering my snubs get carried on the ankle (extremely rare) or in a 5.11 shirt when bike riding (more common carry), the light weight really helps out a lot. With the Hogue tamer grip, I don't find +P rounds to be brutal at all.

Colt does give you one more round. The Official Police is of course not a pocket carry, but the Detective Special works okay in the right pocket. Yeah, I know. The OP is a frankengun. Says OP on the barrel but the frame is an Officer's Model. It's silver plated. And the grips are modern.
but I paid $150.

I have owned some snub's Det Spec the last. I bought my wife a LCR in .38sp and she has AR and loves to shoot it. She now is doing 125g jhp factory p loads and doing fine. She shoots 148g wc target loads in her 4" 686, the transition to the LCR was amazing. She also shoots a .32 H&R mag in 2" with 95 g bullets and never a wimper. The LCR is truly a great subby. I have .44sp snub that I carry in the truck, however a LCR in .44 would be on my bucket list.
