Hi guys! I've just picked up a mint (less than 40 rounds) Ruger M77 Mark II in 220 Swift Varmint Heavy Barrel and am wondering what she's worth. The Rifle also has a beautiful heavy Nylon sling that matches the finish color. There is also a nice (95/100) Pentax Light Seeker 3X-11X with zero scratches on case or lenses. It's a beautiful weapon to say the least. Looks like it just came from the gun shop.
Anyway, I'm wondering what the whole rig may be worth and if I'm better off selling the scope separate.
Forgive the pics, I used my camera phone. Also, please forgive the towel. It's a little cheesy, but at least it's good contrast.

Thanks in advance! :D

I would greatly appreciate a little guidance in this area as I know a lot of you good folks have much experience with this particular weapon. Thanks!

Not exactly Jim. I want a nice 270 or 30-06, but found this and thought I could work a trade, but wanted to know If I was even in the ballpark. Just hoping to run across someone who had extra 270 or 30-06 and wanted a very nice varmint rifle in exchange.

All things being equal, should be a pretty close to a heads up swap,

My only unknown is the value on the scope... not familiar with Pentax rifle optics.. I know that they made a fair camera in the day, not exactly a Nikon or a Canon, but a decent camera... now their Scopes.. never even seen one to my knowledge.

The Gun Broker.c was a really good suggestion, lets you know pretty well where the market is...

Thanks CBob. Just got back from my local gun-shop (WT's Guns in Goldsboro, NC) and they appraised the value between 650 and 700 for the package. A solid 400 for the rifle since it'a in near perfect condition and between 250 and 300 for the scope... so I feel really good about that...
