Ruger Mark IV

This picture is a better view of the Mark IV trigger (in the center) compared to the aftermarket Clark trigger (on the right). Besides being machined to closer tolerances, the Clark trigger lacks the "hook" or "bump" on the back of the OEM trigger. As I discussed in the previous post, the purpose of this hook is apparently to raise the magazine to the fully locked position. All it really does is worsen the trigger pull.

The item on the left is the little "kicker" at the base of the grip, whose purpose is to help push the magazine out once it has been released. Again, this is an item that is unnecessary once the magazine disconnect has been removed.

I have Volquartsen triggers in all of my 22's.

BE AWARE, if you send your Ruger 22 back for work, Ruger will bag your Volquartsen trigger and re-install the stock trigger.

They claim, all of their guns have to be factory when they leave their shop.

That's why you should keep all the original parts that you replace, when you do any upgrades. Return the gun to stock before sending it for warranty work, or else you may lose all your expensive upgrade parts.
