The other evening I picked my MKII from the safe to handle while watching TV with my wife before bed. After a couple times cycling the bolt, I noticed the trigger return spring wasn't doing its job, and the trigger was just flopping back and forth, so I did this:
I've never taken it down this far. I disassembled it far enough to swap the trigger with an older volquartsen trigger, but I thought I may be in over my head.
After giving it a thorough cleaning, I reassembled it without looking up a youtube video for help It turns out the plunger and spring that sits in the trigger itself was bound up and not moving.
I am having extractor issues with this one (I think) every once in a while it leaves the empty in the chamber. I was thinking of buying the volquartsen extractor. How tough is that to swap?
Thanks for the help!
