I recently purchased my first handgun, a Ruger P95 9mm with 2 15rd clips. Ive looked online for some third-party accessories but Im not having much luck finding alot. I would like something to make the grip a good bit better and also would like to find a cheap, reliable, easy to use laser sight to use on the accessory rail. Any suggestions?

as far as grip go with the Hogue Handall. I have one on both my 95s. Laser do not skimp on spend the $100-300 and get a Lazerlyte V2 (good), LaserMax Uni Pistol Laser (better), or Streamlight TLR-2 w/laser (best). The last one gives you a light and laser in a small lightweight package. Also make sure they fit the gun. The Ruger P95 has a very short accessory rail and its hard to get some things to fit in front of the trigger guard. I will be trying to get a Streamlight if it fits. If you opt for no laser get a BLACKHAWK! S.E.R.P.A. holdster and double mag holder and your set. Always stick with Ruger mags, as they are the only ones that will not fail you with this pistol. Although I do have 2 32rnd Pro Mag mags that work well with them. Lastly "clips" for pistols are called magazines, some guys on this blog site will tear you up over that. Good luck.

I would recommend the Mec Gar mags. The bodies of the factory mags are kind of thin, and they flex. This is the 1 time I actually prefer aftermarket mags instead of factory mags - but only Mecgar. They make factory mags for other brands.

I have several of the P95 15 round mags by Mecgar

For the grip, i recommend the Pachmeyr slip on grip. Its very comfortable IMO...

as for lasers and stuff like that, unless you do it right... don't do it. I would buy a light/laser combo. If its less than $150, its more than likely junk. I have a TLR-2 on several of my pistols and its an amazing piece.

If you truly just want a laser, i suggest looking into Viridian.

I would second the pachmayr grip over the hogue. The hogue version has palm swells which makes the p95 even bigger in the grip. The pachmayr is flat with finger grooves. Mark

Yes, this is true - You can get away with cheap lasers on a low recoiling rifle. But on a handgun - go the cheap route, and you will be throwing away your money when the laser either keeps falling off, or it won't hold zero.
