I've been running a Ruger Pistol Caliber (9mm) Carbine and have been experiencing a issue with FTEject. I'm using the Glock Magazine Well assembly, feeding from Glock 33rd magazine
What I'm experiencing is a classic stovepipe with the spent casing being caught between the front of the ejection port and the returning bolt. It isn't every round and it happens with all magazines
1. The empty case is being extracted
2. A fresh cartridge is being stripped from the magazine
3. The fresh cartridge is being chambered
4. The extracted case is being trapped high in the port often in-line with the chambered round.
I've tried loading lighter and heavier without a noticeable difference. I've read about adding a cushion on the rear recoil plate (to slow down the bolt return), changing to a recontoured extractor, and bending the ejector (both up and down)
I was just wondering if others have experienced this issue and what has worked for you to address it
TIA
