Ruger re-releasing the charger in 2015?

IIRC on the rimfire forums, there was some experimentation done with 17mhr. I believe the eventual issue that killed it was the blowback design. there were a few too many OOB detonations.

I do believe that the 10/22 rifles that are chambered in .22 magnum have different receivers than the standard .22lr rifles.

There are a few people that have gotten the 10/22 to work with the .17hm2 but it requires heavier bolts/recoil springs. Most people that tried the conversions had OOB issues

If I were ever to SBR/Suppress a 22 it would be a 10/22 but there are so many old take off barrels around I can't see buying a new Charger when one could just re purpose an old carbine.

15 rounds standard and a threaded barrel?

I like it. A mag I can get out without breaking fingernails and a suppressor ready barrel.

I really like the addition of the 15rd mag. the 10 just goes poof too fast, and the 25 rounders have interference issues for the way i like to shoot mine.

Thoughts on running one of these with iron sites? Maybe AR style on the rail?
