What kind of accuracy are you achieving from your rifles? Which ammo or handloads are you using? I am mainly interested in groups shot at 100 yards with a scopeoff a rest. Open sight info is welcome as well, but that usually says more about the shooters ability than the rifles. Pics of rifles and targets are welcome and encouraged. I just got my rifle and it currently sports a Leupold 4x12. My best groups have been right around an inch with Federal Gold medal match with sierra 175 grain Match Kings. The 168's have been close to as good. My reloading has been minimal to this point but my best 5 shot group was a 5 shot group going a little over 1 1/2" with 4 of them under an inch.
If anyone can tell me how to get pics directly from my phone to the sight I will post pics.

I use a Leupold EIR 1.5-5 w/30mm main tube. My best groups (five groups of five rounds each from a bench rest) average .75-1.0". That is using Federal brass trimmed to minimum , Federal 210 primers, H-4895 powder, and Sierra 168 BTHPM bullets, seated to maximum length. That load will function through the magazines. Charges are weighed using an RCBS Chargemaster combo. Going from a small-base to a bench rest sizing die helped some also.
I have obtained similar results using Barnes 168 TSX bullets with the same components as above. Wolf primers were tested and gave the same result.
Being that this rifle is used for mostly hunting, I spend very little time at the bench, and nearly all practice is done using field techniques learned at school. It has proven to be an excellent hunting rifle for my purposes.

Mine, with peep sights, at 100 yards grouped in the range of 2.75" to 3.0", using 46 to 47 grains of Varget, and 165 grain Sierra GK HPs. However, the stock was defective, and the barrel rode extreme left in the barrel channel. I have not fired it since Ruger replaced the stock. Regardless, those sights are not match-grade. :)

Given that I bought the rifle for peep-sight use, on boar and deer around 100 yards, even those 3" groups easily would have sufficed. BTW, those were 10+ shot groups. I think the one group was 13 shots fired, in rapid fashion, zero cooling. If I can get those groups to 1.5", for three shots, I'll be pleanty happy.

Ref the pics. Download photobucket to your phone. They have an app for it and it's free and easy.

Thanks for the info c grunt. I was able to get some 155 and 175 grain match kings today. I will load some up as soon as possible. I am hoping that my rifle likes the heavier bullets.

I picked up my GSR last week and finally got it to the range yesterday. This 3 shot group was at 100 yards rested on a bag. Ammo was some old 150 gr SP "PMP" brand from South Africa. This 3 shot group measured 1.32"

Scope is a Leupold 1.25-4x VX-R w/FireDot Duplex reticle. This is mounted in the traditional position with the rear peep removed and using 30mm Ruger rings. I am in love with this scope.

This target was from getting the scope sighted in at 50 yards. The circled area is the final four shots and measures about 0.6"

I then ran out of this ammo, switched to Priv Partizan 145gr FMJ and went out to 200 yards. With this ammo, at this range, the group really opened up to ~4" or so with greater than expected drop. I don't know if that group is the ammo or the shooter.

I haven't fired my GSR for measurable groups in quite some time. I did get as small as 1.3" at 100 yards when I had a 4x pistol scope mounted on the forward rail. This was when the gun was new and I was getting used to it with 150 grain FMJ ammo.

I've been really enjoying shooting it open sighted which gives me nice tight groups at 50 yards, but not so much at 100 yards. As much as I like shooting open sighted, the rear ghost ring does not help my 48 year old eyes focus. I probably should get a different rear aperture.
