Bought my first .357 Security Six, NIB,6 in barrel last Sept in a gun shop where it had been a trade in. I changed factory grips to Hogue goncalo alves no finger groove, which fit my hand better. That got me looking, and I found a .357 4 in barrel Security Six earlier this year at a gun show, but no box, and put Hogues on it too. A couple of weeks ago, at another gun show, I traded for a .357 Security Six, 2 3/4 inch barrel, adjustable sights, no box. When I got it home and looked at it more closely, I realized it had no dimple on the right recoil shroud like my other two ( which makes it earlier manufacture), and it had a round butt and factory round butt grips. I thought all Security Sixes were square butt/adjustable sight, all Speed Sixes were round butt/fixed sight, and Police Service Sixes(or Service Six) were square butt/fixed sight. Chad at Red Eagle News Exchange believes this 2 3/4 Security Six with adjustable sights/round butt is very rare and wants to publish an article about it. It makes a very nice carry gun with the round butt, 2 3/4 in barrel and adjustable sights. Black Dog
