I have a few questions about the Ruger Service-Six revolver I saw today.
At what serial number did Ruger change the angle on the grip frame?
What size of wood grip came on the gun originally? This gun had small factory “magna” style grips instead of the larger target size grips. (Grips are hardwood with the diamond pattern checkering). They are too small for me so I would need a Tyler T-Grip or a large grip such as Pachmeyer.
This gun was in .357 but laying on the table was one in 38 Special. How scare is the 38 Special model?
This gun was priced about $320 or so.
I can not provide any more information. I was at a Gun Show and it was too hard to get a better look at when it is crowded. I am trying to decide if I am going back to the show tomorrow morning as there were a couple of other things I want to get.
