Have a Single Six .32 H&R. 4 5/8s barrel,...the Baby Vaquero,...the POI is way to the left of POA, but it's okay for elevation. It has Fixed Sights. How can I adjust that? Can it be adjusted?

Second question: Anybody know of any good smith that can modify this revolver and put a workable adjustable rear sight on it?It's a Great handling gun,...and one of my favorites,..but to hit anything I have to hold the front site blade way to the right in the rear sight channel. It works,..but is sure aggrevating.

I am a right handed handgun shooter,..but left eye dominant..and aim with my left eye. Doesn't seem to be an issue with anything else.

Comments? Suggestions?

Try shooting it left handed and/or get someone else to shoot it before you start hacking. Then, if it needs adjustment, send it to Ruger. I had one like that, a Blackhawk, in all the years, and it came back fine. I think they replaced the barrel, but they wouldn't say.

For a right handed shooter shooting left, often is a trigger control issue. Make sure it's the gun not you.
For the rear sight work, check with Clements or Gallagher.

Sandbag or put it on a rest, and as stated by several previous post let some one else shoot the gun.

Many competent smiths can install an adjustable sight. It requires milling the top strap, it won't be a cheap job.

Not a big deal, just bend the front blade the opposite direction that you want the POI to go. Or send in to Ruger if you're not a DIY kind of guy.
