I don't, but like you I'd certainly like to know more!! I see a 38 super conversion in the future if I ever come across one in the wild

What would it involve to convert to 357 ?
To convert a 38spl to 357 mag? Yeesh, that would depend on the length of the frame. I've heard of revolvers that have different frame lengths between caliber chamberings that are considered to be on the same frame. It's pretty rare to find that nowadays however, they just make obnoxiously long forcing cones to take up some of the gap.

Pretty sure you just need to have the cylinder through-bored. IIRC, this was a common practice with .38 Rugers and even some S&Ws back in the day.

At least some of the .38 Ruger Eurocop contract revolvers were, in fact, exactly the same as their .357 counterparts except for the stamping on the barrel and require no mods at all......
