Any suggestions for a reasonably priced OWB concealment holster for a Ruger SP101 2 inch? One that covers the trigger and rides close to the body? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know just what DeSantis has for the SP101, but I really like my DeSantis holsters for my Bersa T380and G22, and they were certainly reasonably priced. You might check out their website.

Kramer

I have the IWB Kramer holsters for my 1911/686+/SP 101 and am extremely pleased with them. Thye are sturdy enough to carry the gun well, thin enough so the gun just dissappears under un untucked shirt.

As far as Matt Del Fatti, I have one for my 2" SP101. I guess it wouldn't be considered reasonable priced. But it is nonetheless a great OWB holster.

I've always preferred IWB--I use a reasonably priced holster from Bell Charter Oak that was originally designed for an S&W model 19 2.5". It fits my Ruger just fine and makes it disappear under just a t-shirt. Amazingly comfortable.

I didn't have to think even for a second to think of one of the best IWB holsters for the Sp101...Check out Alessi Holsters in upstate New York..Great company to deal with, (Lou A is a super guy and his holsters are top notch and he stands behind them 110%)....Doc:D

In my opinion "reasonably priced" means that the holster is worth it's value. "Expensive" means the holster is not worth the asking price.

Alessi, Sparks, and Del Fatti are all "reasonably priced" if you ask me!!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions. I'm going to be looking into all of these and make a decision.

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake and Silver Dollar Pancake? From the description it sounds like they should be pretty similar for an SP101.

Doc, you have any recent info on Alessi? I bought several through RFHolsters.com over the years, but that site now has multiple typos on the Alessi page, suggests buying through an eBay store, and says there is a 1 1/2 year wait on items not in stock ...

Curious because I love the Talon IWB holster, have several, and would like one for my SP.

For 2-1/4" DAO SP101 my favorite OWB holster is Galco Concealable. But more often I carry it in BlackHawk CQC IWB leather holster made for J-frames. This holster is not marketed for SP but SP fits in beatifully. Holster is very functional and fully adjustable.

Hmmm...if you don't mind me asking, which version of the holster did you get (paddle, 3-slot, etc)?

Thanks.
