In my stuff I found some Wilson combat springs for a Ruger Super Redhawk. The question is, will these springs work in a GP-100? I've read somewhere that they would ,but I'm hoping I can get a response from someone who knows.

Thanks

the main springs are the same but, triggersprings are heavier for the super.the gp kit comes with8#,10# trigger springs & the super kit comes with10#,12# trigger springs.
i take a drill bit & lapping compound & smooth the hole where the trigger spring works ,itll take a lot of gritty feel out!!!!

I have a question re: GP100 action job
Is it too much different from doing a Blackhawk? Basically a spring kit and some judicious polishing is about it?
I've gotten hold of a 3' GP100 that I'm gonna tinker with.
So advice is appreciated!

Gp100man -Thanks for the reply, I put in the 10 lb trigger spring and the 9 lb hammer spring. Unbelievably smooth now. Will have to check for proper ignition at the range prior to testing.

Thanks

Sparky; TWBrian: Yes the same springs, mechanics.
Is it like the Single Actions mechanics; NO
Will they respond to polishing:D:):D Will they respond to Springs:):)
Clean, polishing will improve dramatically the GP's
Is this redundant?:)

the test on the main spring is to shoot very slow&deliberate DA mode if you get 100% ignition then id say your ok.
mine like the 10# main spring.

down load the manual it has the disassembly info ,then when you get the trigger group out put it in a big zip lock bag to work on it ,to capture flying plungers & springs!!!
dont shine to hard on the DA pawl thats a sensative part!!!!!
