The above Ruger was the 1st of 4 MKIV's I have purchased. It was $309 NIB from my LGS. I now have over 25,000 rds fired without a single non ammo related problem. The only mod that was done to it is the Volquartsen accurizing kit. Everything else is completely bone stock. I have yet to find any ammo that it will not run including the crappest bulk ammo on the market. It's far more accurate then I will ever be. There's no sign of any wear and it runs like the 1st day I purchased it. I'm sure that the next 25,000 rds will end up being the same as the 1st. If you're looking for a 22 caliber handgun that you actually plan to shoot often and shoot a lot of lead downrange I don't believe there is a better value available. Flawless operation, extremely accurate, as reliable as the sunrise and just plane fun to shoot.
