Whatever happened to the now hideous (thanks to Bushmaster) ACR?

Bushmaster: We'll make it look like crap!

That nice and all that but I Don't really need it myself. What I do need is some reasonably priced quality M193 ammunition in stock to feed the 5.56 I already got.

At least the over-designed, under-performing TDI Kriss Super V Vector XSMG Take Care TCB, shock it to me... oh... that is at least being produced now. I hate vaporware, it's like getting lied to. Ruger used to have a 1-2 year delay between announcement and delivery. Lately, they've been doing pretty good about holding off on the announcement until they've at least tooled-up.

Bushmaster, on the other hand, announces, THEN starts to design, redesign, hold production, make excuses, etc. I don't like suspense. If you announce it, I want the UPS truck pulling up outside the distributors' doors within a week. Otherwise, you're just a tease.

looks like all the others. dont get me wrong, i LOVE the AR-15 plateorm, but we dont need another outragously priced varient of the same thing. i think that piston driven ar's are overkill. the gas impingment system is an amasing desing, that actually gives inherant accuracy to the AR platform. now, that said, i might want it if i was over seas, but i am not, so i dont see the need for it here shooting paper. besides, even AK's need to be properly cleaened in order to continualy be reliable. not just shootable. clean guns will always shoot better. period.
