Rumor of a new carry gun from CZ?

And if that is the "rumored new carry gun", then . . . whereas it is a good gun, no doubt, . . . it isn't what many people actually want. Just another variation on what they already have. I can MAKE that gun already, if I wanted to. I need thinner.

Let's hope that this isn't "the rumor revealed".

It's not. The secret gun is supposedly not going to be revealed until the winter into '14.

If I were into 10mm, I'd be all over that.

But that definitely can't be a "new carry gun", . . . unless you're . . . like a giant or something. hehehe

Can't CCW a full-size 10mm autoloader on the CZ-pattern? :scrutiny:

Been done before ...

"That's right, bubba."

It's not the 97 10mm conversion. That was just a toy sine guys at CZ USA built.
This new mystery is supposed to be revealed by CZUB.

Will be interesting to see what CZUB can make for a compact carry and meet the import point system

I'm still hoping for a thinner 75 compact. It should [therefore] pass the points.

The world's full of fat gripped guns with rails. They have their places in the scheme of things. There are other places, however. I'd love a slim short CZ, something the size of a 3rd generation S&W like the 3913. I wonder if CZ wants to build it, though.

I was wondering about the actual ability OF a slimmer gun with the slide riding inside the frame. How thin can such a mechanism go? I, for one, would like to see the limit pushed as far as it can and still be safe and long lasting.

Of course, I'm talking about at least a 9mm.

I guess I'll go the opposite direction of folks here. Instead of a smaller, thinner 9mm, I'd love to finally see a 10mm on the large 97 frame.

Yes, please.

I bought this gun and so wanted to love it, and I did like the trigger, the looks, the accuracy, and its feel in the hand. But the cheap poly controls on the left (safety/decocker and slide stop) are ill designed and interfered with my grip. I found I could not get past them and sold the gun. But CZ's on balance are excellent guns.

I completely agree with this statement.
