Has anyone reloaded the cases that have the headstamp that looks like 3 Russian characters? Was it any good/worth reloading? Thanks.

what kind of case is it? steel , brass? any idea brand of ammo. or what the charactors look like

Its brass I got in a trade so I'm not sure what brand it is. It almost looks like the old 7.62x54r bi-metal cases. The characters look like "nny" or 2 pi symbols and a y. From this page:

it would be 2 capital P equivalents and a capital U equivalent. OK, belay my last. Google is my friend and short term memory is my enemy...lol. I knew I had seen that headstamp before and I just remembered where...my friends "economic" 270 rounds he bought. The headstamp is Prvi Partizan so I guess the question is...is Prvi Partizan brass any good for reloading?

why mess?

Winchester and remington .223 brass is about $16-19/100.

I got them in a trade and dont want to waste them if they are good. That same $16-$19 is also 100 speer 52gr HPBT Match bullet, the CCI Magnum Small Rifle Primers and the target to shoot them at. Why waste acceptable brass?

Its O.K., not as good as LC/WCC/Rem/Win and some other foreign military brass. Are you loading for a bolt gun? I'm shooting ARs and will generally load it once or twice and recycle

I'm loading for my AR but I will keep the set aside in case 223 brass ever dissapears and I need to load something.

Privi was actually from Serbia. At least mine is. Anyway, Wolf bought them for there brass manufacturing capabilities. That's where the new Wolf "Gold" line of brass cased ammo is coming from. Privi also used to make the brass for FNM. I don't know anything about the .223 but I bought a few cases of 7.62x25 just for the brass. I read nothing but good about it.
