Russian Baikal Over & Under

Good info. I would post a pic, but I just checked out the camera & someone didn't bother to include the cable & software I need to hook up to my computer. Oh well, maybe tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

You might be able to wait, but I tend to get a little impatient about these things. That nice picture of yours might actually increase sales for Baikal. It definitely influenced my decision to purchase. I've been teasing my wife that she needs to find me something in red velvet so that I have a good background for my firearm pictures. ;)

Doug .... drop in to WalMart .... and in the fabric section go look at what they have in felts. I have about 6 background fabrics but this seems to give me best results ... another is a sorta ''charcoal'' color felt.

Beware tho .. the felts collect dust and lint and hairs like they are a magnet .. so you need to use some sticky tape sometimes to pull off the offending detritis and also .... probably ''clean up'' an image in an image app finally.

Hope you get the link cable ... or otherwise go get a card reader ... some now read up to 6 card types, as mine does .... that way just pull out the card and plug in!! They are down to as little as about $20 now ... great value IMO.

I was in Gander Mt. today. they had 3 or 4 of them new. around $360 new.
i didn't like the front sight bead. it was very small. When I first looked I thought the bead was broken off. But it was the same on all the guns. I would replace it. I need something a little taller. The gun sure fit me nicely. It felt good and seemed to swing pretty well. I think it just made a short list.

I picked up the software & USB wire from work, so I thought I’d try to post a picture of my Plain Jane Baikal. Sorry it’s a little dark.

Thanks P95Carry. I'm going to do a little more reading from your previous post. Having the picture open up automatically in the post is nice.

I have a set of magnetic fiber optic sights on the Baikal. They provide a very nice sight picture. Believe they cost around $20. They front sight is actually larger, but hard to see in my dark photo. The front & rear sights also are two different colors. Much nicer than the original bead front sight on the Baikal.
