Russian night vision

Anyone got a feedback about those night vision scopes?

I've owned several night vision scopes over the past few years. In general, the Russian made 1st generation stuff is low performance and low quality. Not worth even the (relatively) low price they ask.

To REALLY see at night, you need 2nd Gen gear, and it's costly, like in the $1000 range. But 2nd Gen scopes are a huge improvement over 1st Gen. And if you ever look through a 3rd Gen scope, you'll never settle for less, even though they cost abut $2000. It's on a par with what our guys are using in the middle east.
