God bless Senator John Lee! He and about a dozen co-sponsors introduced S.B. 92 which, if passed, will eliminate the unique status of Clark County (Las Vegas, Boulder City, North Las Vegas) regarding the state's pre-emption law.

Clark County was grandfathered when the Nevada pre-emption law was passed, as a consequence Clark County residents and visitors have had to register their handguns within 24 hours of arrival. Boulder City and North Las Vegas also have some gun laws that will be affected if S.B. 92 becomes law.

S.B. 92 will make Clark County like every other county in Nevada!! For more info go to http://art1sec11.blogspot.com

Will that also nullify the restrictions that Henderson and the City of North Las Vegas put into effect?

*edit* Checked the link, and it appears so.. Good for them!

Howdy! For info on S.B. 92 and A.B. 21 please check http://art1sec11.blogspot.com I've got links, etc. about these and 3 other important bills that have been recently introduced that will affect all Nevada shooters.

Re: restrictions in North Las Vegas, yes. restrictions in Henderson, ?? I have no knowledge that Henderson has any unique restrictions. If so, they will be voided by S.B. 92.

Hey some firearms friendly legislation, seems like its been a while since I've seen that being talked about here. :D

Now if they want to do something really cool they could do something to make it easier for non-residents, like honoring UT permits for example, or at least allowing trainers outside the state to do the training and letting people apply by mail.
