Can anyone identify this S&B .40 headstamp, curious because it has a crown or ring stamp and a single mark. Why is it different? Anyone else finding interesting brass at the range?

thanks,

Mmmmmmm?

That's the 'Florida Orange Growers' limited edition ammo they use on the invasive Asian Citrus Psyllid, I think?

Or maybe not???

Dang! RC you are amazing! Is there any question you cannot answer correctly? You must eat at Susie's Chili Parlor in El Dorado!

I always called them strawberries  (some do have 2, one on either side)

Realistically, I think its a representation of a flaming bombshell, some have said that they used to code a year with the marks.

S&B likes to be different.
I love sorting the range brass I pick up.
S&B stamps their .380 brass as 9mm br
makes it fun when you have a whole bunch of 9mm brass mixed in.
