S&W 1911 pc

IM looking at getting a qulity 1911 and am considering a S&W PC. I like S&W old and new...Either way i will purchase a 1911...Is the pc worth it. I want the commander. or would you pick another 1911. I prefer quality. dont want to spend 1500+

I believe S&W have said that only the grip safety, hammer and disconnector are MIM. So that's a pretty easy swap if one should choose to do something about it.


IMO, you can't go wrong with a SW1911 PC. Sweet shooters.


Not sure about the price you have been quoted. They can be found for 11-1250 bucks.

Isn't it $1500 already? Some clubs might not let you compete in certain 1911 classes due to the slide cuts.

Abd that thing is really close to a DW Vbob or Valor. For that price, I'd keep shopping. Colt or DW for me.
