S&W .38 Special CTG

I too have a S&W .38 Special CTG. It is a model 14-3 and the serial number is 6K31989 with a 6" barrel. I inherited it from my Dad and it shoots straight and true. I would like to know what year it might have been made and if there is anything special about that model. Thx.

If you want to ask a new question, feel free to start a new thread instead of tacking on to an older, "dead" one. You get more attention that way - no offense, just so you get better help in the future.

That is a S&W "K-38 Masterpiece," or a model 14 (same thing). They are very popular as .38 target revolvers. That one was made in 1974.
