Went to the indoor range on Sat. Bob asked me if I had seen the new Smith M&P .45? Then handed it over to me. I liked how it felt slim in my hand and
the slide was low with an excellent sight picture, much like a CZ. Unsure if they were nites or just some nice 3 dots. The gun pointed very well, and
wasn't much bigger than the full-sized .40 version.
As I recall...This one didn't have the manual safety, and was all black.
While I didn't dry fire it, he said that the trigger pull was slightly better than a Glock's. I didn't even ask a price
I also handled a S&W Performance Center 1911 than was sweet for a 1911.
Even had that funky two-hole hammer on it.
I can now see why the M&P is such a Glock Killer and people are buying them.
I'd like to shoot the .45 and the 9mm Compact someday.
