S&w 457 proce check

A local dealer has a s&w 457 for 450. Its 95% and comes with box and 3 mags. Anybody think its worth it? I havent got a clue if its stainless, which i hope it is. I got a phone call so i havent checked it out.

The stainless model was the 457S

I always found their numbering odd for this economy model, because the 657 is stainless...but that is a .41Magnum revolver

I had both 457 & 457s. These do not jam and front sight will not melt even when using big flame producing Federal 'Champion' ball loads. One in very good mechanical condition and slight external wear with 3 mags is worth $400.
