S&W 460 end cap

This thread is for those who may be looking for a Muzzle Brake with no holes in it (end cap) for a S&W 460.

I tried to find a 460V end cap at the Smith and Wesson website and didn't have any luck. I've been looking for a while with no luck. I emailed S&W and got this response.

296840000 is the part number for the end cap with no holes. They are 63 dollars each and in stock.

I ordered one and it should be on it's way. When I called, the guy on the phone told me that they didn't have such a thing. I gave him the part # and he tried to sell me a regular muzzle brake. Then I went over the above email and he miraculously found the item. I hope he sends the right one. He was nice on the phone, but I don't think he had seen one before.
I will let you know how it works after I get it.

I wish someone made one for the 500's to go on my 4".
it gets a little unruly.
the only X frame I'd consider trading for is a 5" 460 especially with a solid end cap
