S&W 637 Cylinder Removal

Hi Folks, Can anyone tell me how to remove the cylinder from my S&W 637 .38 SPL for easier cleaning, etc? Not covered in the manual, and a search here didn't show results either. Or is this best left to a competent gunsmith? I am new to revolvers, but have never failed getting my Star BM 9mm back together after breaking down for cleaning. As always, I appreciate your replies. Using the S&W screwdriver or a tightly fitting proper size screwdriver, remove the front sideplate screw. Then open the cylinder and pull the crane forward out of the frame. Then pull the crane off the cylinder.

This should be enough for normal cleaning; I don't recommend disassembling the cylinder.

Reassemble in reverse. Make sure the screw is tightened.
