Might they be ahrends grips? I've never seen the S&W logo on any of their grips but they have the look of ahrends. Since the logo is there, maybe a call to S&W could solve the question. I like wood grips on my pistols and these are sure pretty.
The top example below is my 5" half-lug 686+ Stocking Dealer Exclusive of 2004 - just as it was delivered from S&W. You can get the Ahrends round butt K/L-frame square conversion/finger grooved cocobolo grips from Brownells or directly from Ahrends grips. The bottom revolver, my 627 Pro, sports Ahrends retro target grips in cocobolo. Either grip is $60 + $6 s/h. Google Ahrends grips.
