S&W 6904 Magazine Question

Am trying to get a pair of correct mags for my S&W 6904 which is blued. Did they ever come with stainless steel magazines as used on the 6906.

I have seen stainless magazines but not factory blued ones. Don’t know if that helps.

If you're wondering, the stainless 6906 mags will work just as well, as the blued version. I don't know whether S&W ever shipped 6904s with stainless mags.

I guy on the S&W forum had a new in box, never fired 6904. It came with blued mags.
