Seriously considering a S&W 945. From all I have read, these seem to be high end pistols that can rival some of the best, at a very good price. Any owner input would be appreciated.
Very well put together pistols that can be extremely accurate. Based on the reliable, time-proven Smith "Third Generation" chassis/extractor system with 1911-like (but not interchangeable) fire-control elements. The 945 is an extraordinary effort at making the "perfect" single-action, .45 auto pistol. Mine comes real close to perfection! I'd put it up against any "custom" pistolsmith's creation.
