So I've been on the waiting/rain check list for a S&W Bodyguard 380 for a while now, waiting for the new serial ones that do not have the problems and malfunctions that the first initial batch had and I came across an ad for "S&W BODYGUARD 380 ACP 1ST EDITION" Besides the price drop does this mean these are part of the first "original/old" production batch? Or are these a "new" batch of "new" serials from the latest production? The ad states "Limited to 2,000 specially serial numbered"
Comes with hardwood case, coin, blah blah blah. . .I just want the pistol for super compact carry, so all those whistles don't really matter to me I just want a new production model that doesn't have the problems of the first production batch.
I know that was a bit confusing, but if anyone here in this fine community has any insight please let me know, my full size auto sometimes makes my pants sag.
***oh yeah you can get the 1st Edition set with both the 38 and 380.
