Hello...
I wonder if anyone knows what these markings are on my revolver?...I first thought they may denote Candian but I'm not so sure now!

I do not know what they are, but they are not Canadian just because of the "C." Canadian proofed military guns I've seen and one I own have different markings.

Lots of these guns got unit markings at one time or another, and many did service with other agencies who applied unique marks of their own. Someone may be able to ID those, but most often it's a mystery and bound to remain one. It's also possible that the markings are not related - the top one might have been a unit or military mark from wartime, the lower ones inventory marks from someone else later.
 
I think it is not a "C" but a Broad Arrow "U", used by the Union of South Africa.

I was referring to the last character in the 2nd row, which I took to be a "C." But the upper mark indeed looks like a typical UK arrow stamp inside a U. Good call.
 
Hello and thank you all who have helped identify the marks on my gun!....The South African possiblity didnt even enter my head!!!
