S&W k22 production year

Can anyone help me identify what year my dad's k22 was made. The serial number starts k150xxx. I have read a lot of info on the K22 but not the right info I guess.

1952 according to Supica and Nahas.

I have a 1950 version. Great gun and a lot of fun to shoot.

Thanks a lot. It was my grandfather's gun. He bought it used in the 50's. Then my father got it when he passed and my dad plans on giving it to me when my pistol permit clears. Thanks again.
