kamerer - any suggestions on holsters???

This is a 629-4 Backpacker in a Milt Sparks PMK:

For me, this is the perfect packing holster for a revolver this size.

You are a mind reader! I emailed Milt Sparks earlier this evening asking if that holster was available for a 3" M-29!!!

Thanks for the pic!

My buddy has a 3" TrailBoss

A limited run of 629's from about fifteen years ago. Quite a handful for someone who doesn't shoot the magnums much. The one thing I don't like is the porting. I mistakenly fired it ONCE wihout ear protection. I'd say it was loud if I still had any hearing left.

I like them so much that I made one from an 8 3/8" 629-2.

Ken Kelly at Mag-Na-Port whipped it up for me back around 1990. This has so many additional features to the Predator package. I had Ken add twin ball bearing detents on the crane, 11 degree forcing cone and Trijicon sights.

My favorite pistol.

I had it to the range this week and I shot a 2" ragged hole in the target @ 10 yards - 50 rounds of both specials and magnums.

Holster? I use a Bianchi Cyclone 111. I figured I could use a 4" holster and it works just fine. I carry it in the cross draw, but it also works strong side - very versatile holster.

You're welcome. While I have ordered a couple holsters directly from Tony and Company, I got this particular copy from Craig and Audrey at Lightning Arms: http://www.lightningarms.com/products.htm

You might drop them a line/call and see if they have one in stock.

My new model 29-10 Bounty Hunter

Here it is! I picked it up a little over a week ago. The .44 rnd makes the .22lr rnd look silly.

The Bounty Hunter text stands out in the photo, but most who've seen it first hand don't even notice it.
I have yet to get it to the range though.:(

Well I FINALLY got a chance to take the "Bounty Hunter" to the range last night....fired about 50-60 rounds through it....Winchester white box 240 gr JSP, and Rem UMC 180gr JSP. The 180gr's are like a flame thrower!!! :what: The 240's just kicked like a mule!! A handfull of the Winchester's seemed a little hotter judging by the muzzle flash. I normally shoot 9mm so this was quite the change! :D
More expensive for me to shoot, but high on the fun factor!! The swelling of my hand was worth it! LOL
