What is a S&W M 63 .22 LR revolver worth to a dealer? I am thinking of selling mine.

It's in excellent condition, 4" bbl., used with the box.

If you were in my state, I'd talk to you about it. But my guess is that a dealer would pay in the $300-$350 area if they felt they could sell it easily.

>>Yeah, $500+ easy but, not to a dealer.<<

Exactly... You could sell that in a minute to a non dealer, and reap the added profits.

Chances are a dealer will give you a low ball price just to see if you'll take it. Better off putting it on consignment, finding a dealer who will list it for you on an online auction site, or see what kind of offers you might get walking around with it at a gun show.

You don't need a dealer to use an online auction sight. I've sold several guns online directly, and simply pay my LGS $35.00 to ship it out.

A dealer can't give you what it's worth,,,

A dealer can't give you what it's worth,,,
So assuming you don't need to sell it immediately,,,
I would put it in the High Road forum for a minimum of $500.00.

It won't last long at that price,,,
But you could hold out for top dollar,,,
And hope to get $600 or even $675 for it.

good luck,,,

If you're in Wash State I'd buy it at $500

Questions:

it's a 63 <-- is there a dash number like -3 to the right of the 63 on the crane ?

Is it a 6 shot or the newer 8 shot? probably a 6 shot

Ever watch Pawn Stars? They generally pay 40 - 50% of retail for everything. Got overhead to cover, taxes, rent, salaries.
